Who we are

Dildoes UK (dildoes.co.uk) is operated by AJC Marketing Ltd, company number 11585881. We are the controller of your personal data.

We know your privacy matters

Buying adult products is personal. We only collect what we need, never sell your data, and ship in plain packaging with a discreet bank statement name.

What we collect

  • Order details: name, email, phone, billing and delivery address, and order history. Card details are handled by Shopify Payments; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Device and browsing data: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Customer support: anything you send us when you get in touch.
  • Marketing preferences: if you sign up to our emails.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To process and deliver your order (performance of contract)
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (legitimate interests)
  • To keep tax and accounting records (legal obligation)
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it (consent, via our cookie banner)
  • To send marketing emails (consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link)
  • To show relevant ads on other sites (consent, via our cookie banner)

Who we share it with

We only share data with service providers who help us run the store, under contracts that protect your data:

  • Shopify (store platform and payments)
  • Huboo (warehouse and fulfilment)
  • Royal Mail (delivery)
  • Klaviyo (email marketing)
  • Google (analytics)
  • Advertising partners such as Google and Meta, only if you accept advertising cookies

We may also disclose data where required by law. We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers, including Shopify and Klaviyo, process data outside the UK, including in the US and Canada. Where this happens, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: 6 years, to meet tax and accounting rules
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe
  • Support messages: up to 2 years

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the store, and optional analytics and advertising cookies only with your consent. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in our footer. For the full list, see Shopify's cookie list.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email orders@dildoes.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.

Our EU representative under Article 27 GDPR is Euverify Ltd (Ireland), contactable at gdpr@euverify.com.

Under 18s

This site is only for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we'll delete them.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
